Cameron Diaz Reveals She Does Not Want to be a Mother, Talks About Her Nude Scene in 'Sex Tape'
It's a common notion that motherhood is a special journey which every woman wants to undertake for a sense of completion. But exceptions are always there. Actress Cameron Diaz, 40, feels that being a mother is actually too much of work and she was never drawn to the whole idea of it.
The "Sex Tape" actress revealed her stunning figure and never ending legs as she posed for the Esquire magazine. "It's so much more work to have children," she tells the magazine.
"To have lives besides your own that you are responsible for - I didn't take that on. ... A baby - that's all day, every day for 18 years. Not having a baby might really make things easier, but that doesn't make it an easy decision. I like protecting people, but I was never drawn to being a mother," the gorgeous actress now added.
Diaz, who is currently dating 35-year-old musician Benji Madden, a guitarist and co-founder of the band Good Charlotte, revealed to the magazine that being 40 plus does not bother her at all as she feels this is the best age for a woman to be in.
"I like being 41. I love it. So much just falls away. Fear, mostly," Cameron said.
"That's when a woman knows how to work things, or she doesn't care about that anymore. You just stop being afraid. You don't worry about what men think. You just don't worry that time registers anything awful," Diaz reportedly said.
Diaz was also quizzed about her first ever nude scene she did with co-star Jason Segel in her upcoming comedy movie "Sex Tape."
"It's a first for me. But Jason gets naked, too. It's just a part of the role. So I did it. I mean you see everything," the "Charlie's Angels" actress revealed.
Cameron is reportedly in a content and happy relationship with Benji to whom she was introduced by Benji's sister-in-law Nicole Richie. "Cameron seems very happy with Benji. He is the nicest guy and treats her like a lady," Hello magazine quotes a source as saying.
Diaz was previously dating New York Yankees player Alex Rodriguez, singer Justin Timberlake and actor Jared Leto.
