A 33-year-old Canadian man was stabbed in the heart after he had bumped into a couple of strangers.

Aria Kahafizadeh was walking while texting on his mobile phone. Accidentally, he bumped into two men in Toronto as he was absent-minded. Those men carried out a violent attack on Kahafizadeh and eventually stabbed him on the heart. The entire incident, which took place near Yonge-Dundas Square on Wednesday at around 12:30 am, was captured on a surveillance camera. Kahafizadeh suffered lethal wounds. He was rushed to St. Michael's Hospital as he had to undergo emergency surgery. Now, he is waiting to be operated for the second time.

Police are now looking for the suspect whose face was captured on the camera. According to the CCTV footage, the victim was walking up the street as he was "minding his own business." According to Detective Jason Shankaran, the reaction of the strangers was "completely over the top." While the man unintentionally bumped into those two men, "it caused both of them to completely lose their tempers.... Wanting to punch him, kick him," Shankaran said.

Shankaran, on the other hand, said that the victim had turned out to be "strong" as he fought off the men. "What we can see in the video is after he fended them off, he let his guard down," he said. Thereafter, when the victim tried walking away, one of the strangers ran to him and stabbed him in the heart. It was not possible for the victim to see that he was being attacked.

One of the suspects, 27-year-old Mohamed Ali, was arrested. He has been charged with aggravated assault and attempted murder. He was arrested as he apparently went back to the crime scene to get a knapsack back. Police are now looking for the other suspect. They are also asking the public to come forward and help if they know any detail of the suspect whose photo has been released.

Kahafizadeh is now in stable condition, though still critical.
