Twelve people were hospitalised and three alleged cases of sexual assault took place in a huge Halloween party in Canada. The organisers of the party, held at a ski resort in Gatineau, Quebec; are going to have a meeting on Nov. 4 to discuss the allegations which involve a 16-year-old girl.

According to police, a teenage girl was found unconscious as she was partially naked. Tests at hospital that were conducted later on revealed that the girl had consumed GHB which is commonly known as the "date rape" drug, The Globe and Mail reported.

Martin Fournel of MRC des Collines police said that it was not confirmed what exactly happened after the girl had fallen unconscious. However, he said that the victim services had already started working with the teenager. Fournel said that the girl was no able to remember anything. "The individual involved doesn't remember anything because of the drug," he said. "So we need to verify some information and validate some information." Fournel also said that it was not a pleasant experience for her parents.

There were 12 people, who had attended the party, were later hospitalised due to alcohol or drug related issues. Several of those are reported to be minors. According to reports, the Halloween party was supposed to be meant for people between 16 and 21. Police said that they started investigating if the minors had been served alcohol at the bar or they had already been intoxicated before coming to the party.

Another girl, 17, was touched inappropriately while she was on the way to the party, according to reports. There was a third case where a 16-year-old girl told officers that she had been inappropriately touched. However, she did not lodge any formal complaints, CBC News reported. According to the investigators, there was no suspect in the reported cases. According to reports, people who attended the party were as young as 14. They apparently came from Ottawa and other places in buses. Organisers of the party arranged vehicle for them so that they could attend the party.

Around 1,000 people went to the private party held at Mont Cascades Ski Resort & Water Park on Friday.
