Ultimate Fighting Championship® is now a part of a reality show produced by a Canadian production company based in Ottawa. The company has completed a series named The Ultimate Fighter Nations: Canada v Australia.

Those Canadians Media Group has just finished the very first series where participants from both the countries, Canada and Australia, will participate in The Ultimate Fighter reality show. The Canadian coach of the team will be Patrick Côté, while Kyle Noke will be the coach of the Australian team. This is the second series to be filmed in Australia. On the other hand, this is the fifth time that series has been produced out the U.S. UFC announced about the series officially in June 2013.

There will be 16 emerging pro UFC athletes from both the countries (8 each). They are going to live in one house situated in the Laurentian Mountains. They will stay there for 6 weeks. On the other hand, there is not going to be any "vote out" of the house. They will have to fight to get ahead in the competition. The finale of the season is going to be held in mid-April. It will be a live Pay Per View broadcast worldwide.

Ottawa Citizen reports that the winner of the show will get a 6-figure UFC contract. He will also be able to compete in various venues all over the world. The show is claimed to be the most expensive TV series ever made in Ottawa.

The first series between Canada and Australia will have 13 shows with one hour duration each. Fox FX is going to broadcast the show in Australia while TVA and Sportsnet 360 will do it in Canada. Other countries that will be able to enjoy the show starting from Wednesday Jan 15 include U.S.A. (Fox Sports One), Brazil (Globo) and six other smaller markets on the international level. Around 20 million of viewership is expected from the show.
