"Vampire Diaries" actress Candice Accola, who portrays Caroline Forbes in the CW TV series, and The Fray guitarist Joe King have tied the knot at the Montegut House in New Orleans on Saturday, Oct. 18. The wedding ceremony also served as a reunion for "The Vampire Diaries" cast members.

An unnamed rep of the 27-year-old actress confirmed the TVD star's marriage to E!News. Candice Accola looked gorgeous in her strapless Monique Lhuillier wedding gown with an asymmetrical skirt.

"Officially Mr. And Mrs. King! Best night ever!" the actress posted on her Instagram account craccola as a caption to the black and white image of herself and her husband sharing a sweet kiss. Click HERE to see photo.

Joe King, who looked dapper in his Tom Ford tux at the ceremony, also shared a photo of himself with his new wife on Instagram. "My wife, she makes me wanna dance," the 34-year-old guitarist posted on his Instagram account joekingseco as a caption to the shared image. Click HERE to see photo.

"The Vampire Diaries" cast members that attended Candice and Joe's wedding included Nina Dobrev (Elena), Paul Wesley (Stefan), Kat Graham (Bonnie), Michael Trevino (Tyler), Claire Holt (Rebekah Mikaelson) and Kayla Ewell (Vicki Donovan). According to an MTV report, executive producer Julie Plec was also present at the ceremony who described the evening and shared her experience on Twitter.

"Vampire Wedding. Spectacular," Plec posted on her Twitter account @julieplec on Sunday, Oct. 19. Ian Somerhalder, who portrays Damon Salvatore in the CW TV series, was not able to attend his co-star's wedding but the 35-year-old actor shared a message to the couple via Instagram.

"Candace and Joe- my brother, my sister. What a magical day this is for both of you. From the eye of the storm I am still with you in spirit! Sending you so much love from my shoot in ATL," Somerhalder wrote on his Instagram account iansomerhalder.

The TVD star further revealed that his work schedule for the scenes in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 kept him from attending the wedding ceremony. "I wish I could be there physically, but we have the rest of our lives to celebrate. I love you guys! So. Much," the actor further posted as a caption to the image he shared. According to an E!Online report, Candice Accola and Joe King first met in 2012 during the DirecTV Celebrity Beach Bowl. The blonde actress appeared in the "Love Don't Die" music video of the rock band "The Fray" in 2013.

In May 2013, Candice Accola shared the engagement news on her Instagram account. This is the first marriage for the CW star while it is already the second for Joe King, who has two children from his previous marriage.
