Hull City will visit White Hart Lane to face Tottenham Hotspur for a fourth round battle in the Capital One Cup.

Their most recent clash ended in a 1-0 Spurs win on Sunday in the English Premier League.

Striker Roberto Soldado converted a penalty, after Ahmed Elmohamady was whistled for a hand ball inside the box.

Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas will certainly make changes to his starting 11 on Tuesday, given the successive games that his team has played.

"We will introduce changes but the difference this season is that we have the quality available to throw in a very good team," Villas-Boas told capitalonecup.co.uk.

"We will definitely do lots of changes because the schedule has been quite tight. We will have played Thursday, Sunday and Wednesday."

"We want to continue to do well and we have a responsibility at home to go through.

"We have the team to do it, so naturally the changes will happen."

On the other hand, Hull City are suffering from injury woes and Tigers boss Steve Bruce will definitely use reserved players in his squad.

Hull defender Alex Bruce will likely see action after several defenders went down with injuries.

"It's a squad game nowadays, you can't rely on 11 players in a season or you're going to be struggling. There's going to be injuries," said Bruce.

"You need to utilise the squad because you can't play the same 11 week in, week out."

"You've got to have a strong 18 or 22 players who, when called upon, have got to do a job. I think the lads who came in [on Sunday] did that."
