'Captain America 3' To Be 'Civil War' With Black Panther
Marvel has announced that "Captain America 3" title will be "Civil War." The movie is slated to be released on May 6, 2016 in the U.S. The movie will also feature a new character called "Black Panther." The announcement was made by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. [Spoiler Alert]
Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. will be reprising their roles as Steve Rogers and Tony Stark, respectively, in the upcoming movie, and Chadwick Boseman will be playing the role of Black Panther for the first time in the movie.
"Captain America 3" is said to be a movie where one hero will be fighting against another. According to a report by Screencrush, it will be Tony Stark against Steve Rogers in the movie. The problem is said to arise after the government comes out with a new law called "Superhuman Registration Act."
The new law will reportedly divide the superhero community with some favouring the act while others are against it. According to the report, Steve Rogers leads the group that is against the new law, while Tony Stark leads the group that is in favour of the law.
According to the report, the events that will occur in "Captain America 3" will have an impact on future Marvel movies on superheroes. One of them may be sending Hulk to an alien planet after the events of "Avengers 2." The producers have, so far, not confirmed that this storyline from the comics will feature in the upcoming movie.
The report also speculates Steve Rogers may not die in the movie, but the events in the movie may culminate into him eventual disappearing for a while but returning to take on Thanos in "Avengers: Infinity War."
Will Steve Rogers and Bruce Banner be forced to leave in "Captain America 3"? The trailer of "Avengers: Age of Ultron" does show Bruce losing the battle to dominate his Hulk persona. The two movies may set the stage for Thanos to strike, when the superheroes are divided and weak after all the battles.
One character to watch closely in "Captain America 3" will be Black Panther. The character will also appear in a solo movie on Nov. 3, 2017. The role in the solo movie will again be played by Chadwick Boseman, who has starred in movies like "Get on Up" and "Draft Day."
