Chadwick Boseman, the actor who plays the role of Black Panther in "Captain America 3," has shared some thoughts about playing the comic book character in the upcoming movie. This will be the first time that audience will be seeing the character on screen.

Fans of the franchise may have already seen a concept art showing the costume that Chadwick Boseman will be wearing in the movie "Captain America 3." Speaking to EntertainmentWeekly the actor said that he has not yet tried the costume on for the role.

The actor revealed in the interview that he was not a big fan of Black Panther in the comic books, although the actor did share an interest in reading comic books. But as an actor, Chadwick has reportedly fallen in love with the character because of the possibilities the role offers on screen.

The actor also said that it was the right time for the character to emerge in "Captain America 3" and for the character to "have his own life." The solo movie "Black Panther" starring Chadwick Boseman is slated to be released in 2017. The actor shared that the official talks with Marvel for the role started less than a month before the announcement.

This was reportedly the first time that the actor auditioned for a role of a comic book character. According to the actor, the audition process was more of a discussion on what the actor saw in the character and what he wanted to do with it. The actor gave credit to Marvel saying that they were "really smart" about the audition process and said that he was very excited to play the comic book character in "Captain America 3."

The actor reportedly said that playing Black Panther in "Captain America 3" was not all about fame and fortune. He said that the producers were really good at what they do. The actor said that his personal goal was to play "great characters" and work with "great directors" and film studios that have critical acclaim.

Playing Black Panther in "Captain America 3" may also provide directing opportunity to Chadwick Boseman in the future. The actor said that he has successfully pitched for an idea to Universal. Whether the actor gets to star in this movie or direct it has reportedly not been finalized yet.
