‘Captain America 3’ Title Revealed, Spoilers Point To Capt. Rogers Death
"Captain America 3" will reportedly tie-in with the story in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" especially involving the "death" of Capt. Steve Rogers. The movie's title will supposedly provide a hint to the fate of the superhero with the Avengers.
Since "Captain America 3" is believed to be adapted from the "Civil War" comic book, and few speculated the sequel will be entitled as such, "Civil War." However, Badass Digest's Devin Faraci pointed out that the movie will eventually be called "Fallen Son." He credits this assumption from multiple sources who claimed it would be the actual title even though the sequel will have a Civil War story.
"Fallen Son" could depict the fate of Captain Steve Rogers as he battles with the Avengers. Dave Faraci suspects the super soldier could "die" in "Captain America 3." However, it is uncertain if his death could mean physical, like his "super soldier serum gets depleted." Or the hero could just be hanging up his shield in favour of a normal life.
This somehow reflects back to the teaser footage for "Avengers: Age of Ultron" revealed at the San Diego Comic-con. Cinema Blend adds the end scene shows Tony Stark looking down at what seemed like dead bodies of the Avengers. Captain America's shield is also seen shattered and torn in half.

Captain America's resignation will reportedly be played out at the end of "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Though this hasn't been confirmed and filmed, Movieweb claims this will be triggered when Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) assembles a new team from members of the Avengers. These include Falcon (Anthony Mackie), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), who will reportedly all be appearing in "Captain America 3: Fallen Son." Capt. Rogers will supposedly be in direct conflict with Tony Stark (Iron Man) because of his decision to lead his own army. According to Faraci, since the fall of SHIELD in "Winter Soldier," Stark feels like there's "simply no one keeping tabs" on the team. Thus, he created Ultron only to feel responsible for the chaos the robot brings.
However, this report should still be considered as speculation. Marvel has yet to officially confirm if "Fallen Son" would indeed be the title for "Captain America 3." Likewise, no details have yet been revealed regarding Steve Roger's fate in the sequel.
