'Captain America: Civil War': Ant-Man featured in new promo art of Steve's team
Ant-Man has been featured in a new promo picture of “Captain America: Civil War.” The new picture shows all the members of Steve Rogers’ team together, in a fighting pose.
The promo picture posted on Comic Book Movie, shows Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) sitting on a flying ant and preparing for battle. Rudd’s character was introduced in the 2015 movie titled “Ant-Man.” The movie explored the origin story of Scott Lang and how he became a superhero.
Ant-Men is all set to join Steve Rogers’ (Chris Evans) team in the forthcoming movie. Scott comes in at a time when the superheroes of the world are split into two factions, each being led by Steve and Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) respectively.
Some of the other members of Steve’s team are The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Agent 13 (Emily VanCamp), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Falcon (Anthony Mackie). More promo pictures of the two factions have been posted on Comic Book Movie.
The pictures also show Iron Man’s team in the movie, which includes The Vision (Paul Bettany), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), War Machine (Don Cheadle) and Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson). The main reason for the split in the superhero community in “Captain America: Civil War” is a new legislation that governments across the globe intend to introduce. The legislation will seek to curtail the unlimited freedom to strike enjoyed by the superheroes.
The trailers of the movie show that The Winter Soldier will also be an important factor in the superheroes being split. Bucky may be asked to pay for the crimes he committed, while he was under the influence of Hydra.
“Captain America: Civil War” has been directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. The movie will be released on April 29 in Australia and on May 6 in the US.
