Gwyneth Paltrow, the actress who played the role of Pepper Potts in previous movies, wants to reprise her role in "Captain America: Civil War." Her name has so far not been announced by the producers. The movie will be featuring the characters Tony Stark and Black Panther.

Rumours of Gwyneth Paltrow joining the cast of "Captain America: Civil War" have been circulating for some time. The actress reportedly called DishNation to speak about the possibility of that rumours coming true.

"My fingers are crossed. I would love to be Pepper Potts again at some point in my life," Gwyneth Paltrow reportedly said. The actress confirmed that there have been rumours floating around about her being cast in the movie but she did not know if she will be able to reprise her role again.

The character Pepper Potts has so far been seen in all the movies featuring the character Tony Stark. The character was last seen in the movie "Iron Man 3,"released in the year 2013. She played a very important role in the main plot of the movie and the events in the movie may have altered the character for the future movies.

"Captain America: Civil War" will not be the first movie that will not be featuring the character Pepper Potts alongside Tony Stark. The upcoming movie "Avengers: Age of Ultron" does not include Gwyneth Paltrow as one of its cast members. The actress was cast in the first "Avengers" movie released in the year 2012.

"Captain America: Civil War" will primarily be focusing on the two superheroes Steve Rogers and Tony Stark. The two heroes will have a falling out after a new government law leads them to have different opinions. The governments across the globe will pass a law to regulate all superheroes. This will lead to two factions emerging among the superheroes. One faction, led by Tony Stark, is for the new law and another faction, led by Steve Rogers, is against the law.

"Captain America: Civil War" is slated to be released on May 6, 2016 in the U.S. The release date information for Australia has still not been announced by the producers. Actor Chadwick Boseman has been cast for the role of Black Panther in the movie.
