Captain America graces the cover of Entertainment Weekly.

Chris Evans (Fantastic Four, Not Another Teen Movie), the actor set to portray the Marvel hero, dons the famous Captain America, red and blue, and shield on the November issue of Entertainment Weekly, revealing how the icon will look onscreen in Captain America: The First Avenger.

Entertainment Weekly also revealed that the movie will not be shown on the 4th of July, but 18 days later on the 22nd.

In the issue, the 29-year old actor admits that he was scred to accept the role of Captain America since he already portrayed the Human Torch on-screen. But Evans said he came around after realizing his reluctance was based on his fear.

"I was just scared," said Chris Evans.

"I realized my whole decision making process was fear based, and you never want to make a decision out of fear."

Evans has sinced signed a six movie deal with Marvel Entertainment, including Captain America: The First Avenger, and The Avengers, plus two more sequel yet to be identified.

His worry that the film may "bomb" can now be assuaged with Disney, Paramount and Marvel Entertainment recently reaching an agreement on the worldwide marketing and distribution right for The Avengers and other Marvel Entertainment comics adaptation.

Paramount's right to The Avengers will be transferred to Disney which acquired Marvel Entertainment last year. Paramount will received $115 million for the rights, including rights to Iron Man, for the transfer from Disney.

However, Paramount retains the worldwide distributor of Captain America in which Chris Evans plays the titular character, and Thor and will still receive 8% of Avengers revenue.
