Cara Delevigne 'Too Bloated' To Be A 'Victoria's Secret's' Angel, Male Model Says
Cara Delevigne, the petite model that is making waves in the fashion world, and even now branching into the movies, is said to be too fat to walk the infamous Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2014. A male catwalk model, no less, asserted that this is the real reason why she's not part of the sexiest fashion show there is.
Mail Online UK reported that male catwalk star, Robert Konjic, theorized that Cara Delevigne, Model of the Year, is not in the VS Fashion Show 2014 is because her body was not fit enough to warrant her to be an "Angel." "They are famously strict - if you let go even a little, then they don't want you," the male model shared to Mail Online UK at the Chopard Christmas party at Annabel's. The model detailed that he was not too surprised not to see the renowned model on the catwalk, citing that Cara looked "bloated" at the British Fashion Awards.
The male model's comment may be taken with a grain of salt, as most people admired Cara Delevigne's figure on the British Fashion Awards 2014. She looked dazzling and slim in a floor-length gown with a slit so high it reaches her thigh.
It could be remembered though that Cara walked for the previous Victoria's Secret fashion shows in 2012 and 2013. This is why it is easy to notice she is absent from this year's fashion show, along with another top model today and her BFF, Kendall Jenner.
Cara is a busy model, branching out to be an actress and a designer as well. For this year, she is the face of British top brands, Topshop, Burberry, and Mulberry, and worked for campaigns by brands Balmain, YSL Beauty, and La Perla. She designed a capsule collection for American brand DKNY. She also had the chance to duet with Pharrell Williams as well as acted for Michael Winterbottom's "The Face of an Angel" and Chris Foggin's "Kids in Love. Currently, she has given the chance to be part of the cast of new DC Comics movie "Suicide Squad," along with actors Jared Leto and Tom Hardy. No wonder CTV News CA calls her "the outstanding model of 2014."
