After her breakup with professional golfer Rory McIlroy, Caroline Wozniacki bagged her first WTA title following her 6-2, 6-2 domination on Gemany's Annika Beck in the finals of Luxemburg Open on Sunday.

The 23-year old Wozniacki played a great match, launching a barrage of beautiful shots to dispatch her foe and bag the 21st WTA title of her career.

"21st title, it's great," Wozniacki told the media following her victory over the 57th ranked German. "I'm still young, I have a few more years to go, so to be at 21 already is just great. This is what you practice for."

Last week, the Danish beauty reportedly broke up with McIlroy to focus on their respective career. The former world's no.1 had been dating the former top-ranked golfer for the past two seasons, but their relationship didn't bode well to their play.

Wozniacki needed almost a year to end her title drought while McIlroy drastically dropped in the PGA Tour ranking after entering 2013 as world's no.2 golfer behind Tiger Woods.

Despite the rumored breakup, McIlroy didn't miss the chance to congratulate her ex-girlfriend by posting a sweet comment on his twitter account.

"#21 #luxembourg #mygirl @CaroWozniacki," McIlroy tweeted on Monday.
