Caroline Wozniacki Tries Her Hand At Playing Golf; Crowd Tease Former Fiancé Rory McIlroy Over Breakup During A Rugby Match

Caroline Wozniacki has recently tried her hand at playing golf. For a starter, Wozniacki did a pretty good job after hitting 200 yards on her first attempt.

The Dane shared a video on Instagram of herself teeing off on Instagram on Dec. 28. "Not the prettiest golf swing, but 200 yards on the first try, boom! #notprettybuteffective," Wozniacki captioned the video.

Wozniacki had been in a high-profile relationship with top-ranked golfer Rory McIlroy for three years. They began dating in 2011 and they were frequently seen supporting each other in their tournaments. The pair welcomed 2014 by announcing their engagement on Twitter. Unfortunately, their love story ended after McIlroy called off their engagement only a few months after its announcement. Golf Digest regarded McIlroy and Wozniacki's split as one of golf's biggest breakups.

In other news, McIlroy was teased by the crowd when he watched a rugby match between Ulster and Connacht in Belfast, Northern Ireland over the weekend. In the video below, McIlroy was interviewed during the half-time break by BBC, and that was when the in-stadium music began playing Neil Diamond's song "Sweet Caroline." The crowd that was watching the match began trolling the Irish golfer by singing to the tune.

McIlroy was caught off-guard by the unanticipated gag from the crowd, which was directed to his past relationship with Wozniacki. He looked embarrassed for a little bit, but he simply laughed off the crowd's humorous behaviour.

Since McIlroy and Wozniacki's split, the golfer has been rumoured to have dated a number of beautiful ladies including Nadia Forde, Sasha Gale and Sashi Naidoo. Wozniacki, on the other hand, has focussed on her tennis career. She has never been with any man after their split until just recently.

Wozniacki has recently been linked to American footballer Ryan Kerrigan, who just extended his contract reportedly worth $7 million for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League earlier this year. Wozniacki was spotted with Kerrigan at a charity event in Washington, D.C. Several spectators revealed that Wozniacki and Kerrigan spent a lot of time together at the event. It is not clear how Wozniacki and Kerrigan met. In addition, nothing has been confirmed yet about Wozniacki and Kerrigan's relationship status.
