Carrie Underwood is pregnant with her first child. The 31-year-old Grammy winner recently appeared on "The View" and revealed the due date of her baby.

"I'm due in the spring," said Underwood enthusiastically when asked about her baby with husband Mike Fisher. Carrie channelled a blue Temperley London dress for the talk show. The full sleeves lace dress clinched right above her tiny baby bump and made her look radiant. The singer coupled her look with loose waves and wine coloured heels.

Underwood also opened up about her concerns of being a first time mother. "Just being responsible for a tiny human. That's the hardest part," the American Idol winner confessed, according to the reports by US Weekly. Carrie further admitted that she is still getting use to the idea of motherhood and the fact that she is going to start a full fledged family with Fisher.

The country music singer tied knot with Mike Fisher in 2010 and the couple announced via Instagram on Sept. 1, 2014 that they are expecting their first child. During her appearance the singer even revealed her wish to have a baby girl. Moreover, as a part of her pregnancy fitness regime, Carrie is doing arm toning with punching bags and weightlifting. Her trainer Erin Oprea revealed to People that "Carrie is going light on weights but has increased her reps." Carrie is reportedly doing 15 reps of lunges with leg pulse and 15-20 reps of sumo squats with arm curls.

She is also eating healthy and staying hydrated, according to further reports by the website. Meanwhile, Carrie's new album "Greatest Hits: Decade #1" would be in stores from December 9. She would also be seen performing at the HBO's Concert of Valor on November 11 and the CMA Country Christmas on ABC December 1. Currently, Carrie is preparing to host CMA Awards with Brad Paisley.

She would be seen touring for the Country Concert '15 in Ohio July 11, 2015. The singer has also released her latest singer "Something In The Water," but she is not doing much press as she seems to be taking rest and preparing for new-born's arrival.
