The Cast of ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ Hit Down Under
Flawless as ever, the cast of the highly-acclaimed hit at the box office, "Snow White & the Huntsman" finally premiered down under. Australian native, Chris Hemsworth was joined by the lovely, Kristen Stewart while the Evil Queen, Charlize Theron was nowhere in sight. What else happened at the casts' Australian premiere?
Set in Event Cinemas, Bondi Junction at Sydney's Eastern suburbs, the cast of "Snow White" literally caused mayhem. In an interview with AAP Newswire Multimedia, Chris Hemsworth & Kristen Stewart open up on their Australian red carpet premiere plus all things "Snow White".
Despite the hoards of fan girls screaming frantically, Chris Hemsworth appeared all steady and hot as ever. Dressed in an impeccably dapper suit and his signature "Thor" in a neat ponytail, Chris talks about doing his own stunts on screen to having to leave his daughter, India, for the premiere.
"I'm an acrobat, maybe, no," says Chris Hemsworth with a laugh on answering if he does his own stunts, adding, "Occasionally I do them, when they let us".
Apart from stunts on set, Chris Hemsworth also had to shed a few pounds for the role. Being "The God of Thunder", Thor, in the film "The Avengers" had required Hemsworth to be bulked up. However, for the role as the huntsman in "Snow White", Chris had to lose a few ticks of the scale.
"I lost weight for this," explains Chris. "I just come off 'Avengers', and I, where I was at most heaviest for that role and I ended up losing a little weight for this and eventually the next thing I did was sort of on the way down".
With all the premieres still on the calendar, new dad, Chris Hemsworth, had to leave his firstborn daughter, India. According to Hemsworth, it was "definitely hard" to leave her behind.
Joining Chris on the red carpet was Kristen Stewart. Swapping the Converse sneakers for a pair of Louboutin's, KStew was once again red carpet ready in minutes. Donned in a fancy dark green skirt and matching top with golden embellishments, Kristen talked about being in her mother's hometown plus being the "feisty" version of "Snow White".
"I do, she loves it so much," answers Kristen about being able to visit Australia, her mother's home country. "I've only been here a few times as well," added Stewart.
"I think that you need to be kind of feisty to withstand that," explains Stewart on being a bit "feisty" on and off screen.
