ABC has released a sneak-peek of "Castle" Season 6 Episode 15, "Smells Like Teen Spirit." This episode seems to be inspired by Stephen King's "Carrie." The book features a teenage outcast, Carrie, who uses her telekinetic abilities to exact deadly revenge on her mean classmates. In an interview to TV Line, Andrew Marlowe has said that the upcoming episode will "take us in that Carrie kind of world."

In the sneak peek clip of "Smells Like Teen Spirit," Castle can be seen saying, "the outcast, the mean girls, the rage that erupts in a telekinetic attack, this is a real life Carrie." The clip provides a glimpse of a group of mean girls mocking a girl, Jordan Gibbs, at a school cafeteria. This leads to Jordan revealing her telekinetic powers. The chairs and tables at the cafeteria move, automatically. One of the tables pushes the mean girls to the wall, scaring them. The clip indicates that Jordan has no control on her telekinetic ability.

For this episode, directed by Kevin Hooks, Castle and Beckett visit one of Castle's alma-maters to investigate the murder of a school girl. Jordan is the main suspect. Indubitably, Castle will be "giddy" to know that the evidence is pointing to a perpetrator who has occult powers. This is his kind of murder investigation.

Chad Gomez Creasey and Dara Resnik Creasey have written "Smells Like Teen Spirit." The episode is scheduled to air on Feb. 17, 2014.
