The episode seven of "Castle" Season 6 is "Like Father, Like Daughter." The episode is likely to bring back Castle's (Nathan Fillion) daughter, Alexis (Molly Quinn), to the 12th precinct. The Episode 6 of this season, "Get a Clue," ended on a bitter note. Alexis used some strong words to make Castle see the reason and stop interfering in her life, and putting down her new boyfriend, Pi (Myko Olivier).

In Episode 7, "Like Father, Like Daughter," Alexis will seek out her father to prove the innocence of her friend who is a "death row inmate." The preview of the episode suggests that it is a "cold case." Castle and Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) do not have much time as Alexis friend is going to be executed in 72 hours.

Quinn said to TV Guide that it was difficult for her character to "man-up" and seek his father's help on this case. Andrew W. Marlowe, creator of "Castle," called Castle and Alexis an "awesome team" and said they "know how to work together."

"And hopefully down the line, there will be some healing through that. But the main word is hopefully," Marlowe said.

The working together on the case might not lead to complete repairing of the relationship, but it'll be a "big step" towards that. Marlowe said to TV Guide that the episode will answer "a lot of fundamental questions," especially regarding how the father and daughter "feel about each other and where their trust level is." Simultaneously, "Like Father, Like Daughter" will also raise other questions.

The official Episode Synopsis of "Castle" Season 6 Episode 7, "Like Father, Like Daughter": "Alexis enlists Castle's help on an Innocence Review case to prove that a death row inmate, Frank Henson (guest star James Carpinello), was wrongly convicted.
