‘Castle’ Season 6: Alexis Outburst against Beckett
Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Alexis (Molly Quinn) relationship took a wrong turn in "Castle" Season 6 Episode 6, "Get a Clue." Castle has not warmed-up to the idea of Pi being in his daughter's life, and has a huge problem with Alexis moving in with him. And, Alexis expressed her displeasure, vocally.
In the episode, Alexis told Castle she may also think that Beckett is not right for him but she accepted his decision. Likewise, he needs to accept her and Pi's relationship. It was a conversation that Castle did not expect to have with his daughter. About her character's outburst against Beckett, Molly Quinn said to Huffington Post: "I think that was kind of the one mean, jabby thing she said. Because Beckett is right for Castle, we all know that, so it's probably the only thing that Alexis, out of anger, said incorrectly. It's essentially [her saying], "Accept me."
Molly said that her character is not being "mean" but is trying to be "honest." The actress also said that Pi is going to stay. "She's (Alexis) not looking down the road, and since her dad has been able to find love, she's found it, too. Or at least what she believes it is," Molly said.
The seventh episode of "Castle" Season 6 is called "Like Father, Like Daughter." Alexis is going to ask her father to help prove the innocence of a death row inmate. There are only 72 hours left before the execution.
Talking about the upcoming episode, Molly indicated that while working on the case, the father and daughter may resolve their issues and get back together. "They (Castle and Alexis) work so well together and the relationship ... you really see the foundation of it -- again, which was so lovely to do. Down the line, this will hopefully put them back together, better than they ever were," Molly said.
