The episode nine of "Castle" Season 6 is "Disciple." It is the murder of Lanie's look-alike that is expected to kick-start the episode's murder investigation, which is likely to reveal that the murderer is after the detectives of 12th precinct.

According to the promo clip of "Disciple," Lanie's murdered look-alike has the same tattoo at the same place. Castle wonders if the murder is some kind of warning, while voice in the video says: "You think you got this all figured out, you don't."

The official synopsis of "Castle" Season 6 Episode 9 "Disciple" states that "Castle and Beckett's murder investigation involves a female victim who looks just like Lanie. As they dig deeper, they become aware that the killer may be after the detectives of the 12th Precinct."

It is highly possible that Castle's father will return in an episode that might air sometime in 2014. Castle has not told anyone that he has met his father, and that his father helped him when Alexis was kidnapped.

James Brolin, the actor who played Castle's father, said to Antenna Free TV that he has received a call to reprise his role of Castle's father in Season 6 of "Castle."

The actor told the Antenna Free TV: "Well, there's no reason for me to do another episodic show...unless I can show you the complete other side of this character, the one you might be afraid of. He said that he told the producer of "Castle" that if he is going do another episode, "I'd like to have it as talked-about as the first one."

"So I start Castle again on... I go to New York next week, and then I start Castle the following Monday."
