Stana Katic is leaving 'Castle'

"Castle" Season 6, Episode 15, titled "Smells Like Teen Spirit," airs Feb 17. Novelist Stephen King's popular character Carrie will come to a viewer's mind, if he or she is a King reader. Meanwhile, Stana Katic answers a fan's question about Castle Season 7.

A teenage girl could be telekinetic, says the publicized synopsis for Castle Season 6, Episode 15. Naturally, Rick Castle (Nathan Fillion) is thrilled. Just as naturally, Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) is sceptical about this girl's so-called superpowers. Watch the ABC promo video on YouTube for a sneak peek into this new episode.

A mean high school girl is killed. Could telekinesis be involved? Fans could not easily dismiss the "superpower" hints this early. It will be recalled that time travelling was strongly suggested in Castle Season 6, Episode 5 ("Time Will Tell").

Meanwhile, Stana Katic lets her Twitter followers know that she's done filming Castle Season 6, Episode 17, titled "In the Belly of the Beast." The actress does not normally hype episodes, but it seems something special is going to happen in Castle 6x17. Stana tweets she's had an "incredible ride" working on this episode. That it was co-written by creator Andrew Marlowe says a lot.

Stana also answers a fan-tweeted question about Castle Season 7. The actress also teased fans about the fast approaching Season 6 finale. Apparently, no paperwork has been concluded for Season 7 yet. But many fans are sure that ABC would have another chapter of Castle. And it's not just because Rick Castle and Kate Beckett, also known as "Caskett" to shippers, are getting married.
