"Castle" Season 6, Episode 17, titled "In the Belly of the Beast" airs March 3 on ABC. This is one of the darkest episodes ever produced by the creative minds behind Castle. Stana Katic has been stoked about this episode. Many Caskett fans, however, are simply waiting for the ABC procedural dramedy to give more clues about an expected wedding by the season finale. Stana also shares with fans her thoughts about this wedding.

Stana Katic told TVLine's Matt Webb Mitovich she was "glad" the Castle showrunners went with something that is "a little bit more intense on (Kate Beckett)." Series creator Andrew Marlowe teamed up with another Castle showrunner, David Amann, to make sure the 'Belly' script has the right amount of darkness and Castle edge.

"We had some really wonderful guest cast. Kenny Johnson is phenomenal; I had a blast working with him," Stana said. Many Castle viewers also cheered the guest appearance of Carlos Gomez ("Shark" and "Charmed") as Captain Fowler. Kate Beckett finds herself at Death's door in Castle Season 6, Episode 17, In the Belly of the Beast. The episode title alone could not get any darker. In an emotional moment, she writes a letter to her husband-to-be, Rick Castle (Nathan Fillion). In describing the scene, Stana said, "(N)othing makes better love story stuff than facing your immortality."

Fans could confidently guess Beckett would survive Episode 17's ordeal. It will be a suspenseful ride for sure, but in the end, Caskett shippers would only ask: What about the upcoming wedding?

"I think it's going to happen. It's got to!" Stana Katic told TVLine about the Caskett wedding. It may or may not be in Castle Season 6. But some fans are convinced the long wait has been enough.

The viewers have already seen Beckett's wedding dress in Episode 14. The couple found their song in Episode 15. Beckett and Alexis had a heart-to-heart talk about their place in Rick's life in Episode 16. What would fans get next?

Castle Season 6x17 airs on March 3 on ABC. The next episode, titled "The Way of the Ninja," airs on March 17. Caskett fans should brace themselves for a 2-week break.
