"Castle" Season 6, Episode 8 ("A Murder is Forever") gives the core characters a "regular case," so to speak. Perhaps there will still be a few bits about the wedding as in the previous episode. Things got a little bit personal to Rick, Kate and Alexis in Episode 7's "Like Father, Like Daughter." But it's NYPD business as usual this week. Meanwhile, Stana Katic is calling for People's Choice support not just for herself, but also for Jon Huertas and Seamus Dever.

Spoiler alert: This feature contains minor spoilers for "Castle" Season 6, Episode 8, "A Murder is Forever." A quick recap of the previous episode's highlights will also be mentioned.

Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) investigate the murder of a well-known relationship therapist in Castle 6x08. "A Murder is Forever" brings to mind the jewel-related engagement saying, "Diamonds are Forever." Viewers can expect some parallelisms between this week's murder case and Cas-kett's relationship. Perhaps the viewers will hear more about the ongoing Cas-kett wedding preparations.

The TV.com synopsis states, "While it first appears that client secrets may have been the motivating factor, a rare valuable object discovered in the victim's possession makes the case much more complicated."

Guest stars in this episode are: Carter Roy, David Blue, Anthony Ruivivar, and Maya Stojan. Chad Gomez Creasey and Dara Resnik Creasey penned the script for "A Murder is Forever," directed by Bill Roe.

Castle and Beckett: When is the wedding date?

In Castle Season 6, Episode 7, Rick and Kate get to talk quickly about wedding venues. Who do you think will be Maid of Honor, Lanie (Tamala Jones) or Alexis (Molly Quinn)?

Rick is "seriously" considering a wedding in space. Alexis has a one-on-one talk with Kate, but the viewers are not privy to the conversation. She is, however, thankful for Kate's help in freeing an innocent man from death row.

Castle series creator Andrew Marlowe would not confirm or deny the wedding date for Rick Castle and Kate Beckett. But avid viewers are optimistic the big event will unfold in Season 6.

ABC's Castle in People's Choice Awards 2014

Nathan Fillion, who plays the titular role of Rick Castle, is not specifically among the nominees for People's Choice Awards 2014. But "Castle" made it to a couple of categories. Here are the PCA nominees from Castle: Stana Katic (Favourite Dramatic TV Actress), Castle & Beckett (On-Screen Chemistry), Ryan & Esposito (TV Bromance), and the series itself is nominated for Favorite TV Crime Drama.

ABC's "Castle" is up against "Bones" (Fox), "Criminal Minds" (CBS), "The Mentalist" (CBS), and "NCIS" (CBS). No other TV Crime Drama has as many People's Choice 2014 nominations as Castle. This goes to show how the ABC series is succeeding in entertaining its viewers across various categories - from bromance to traditional TV romance.
