"Castle" Season 6 premiere episode, "Valkyrie," will open with Kate Beckett's (Stana Katic) reaction to Rick Castle's (Nathan Fillion) proposal. The promo is out for the premiere episode of "Castle" Season 6 and it is an expected Beckett reaction, but millions of Caskett (Castle + Beckett) shippers were expecting a "Yes" in the promo.

The last season of "Castle" ended on Castle proposing to Beckett. He finally shed all his apprehensions and decided to take the plunge. In the closing scene of the final episode of "Castle" Season 5, "Watershed," he said, "I've decided, I want more. We both deserve more."

"I agree," Kate said.

Castle asked, "Katherine Houghton Beckett, will you marry me?" The episode ended on Beckett's stunned, unresponsive face. The promo of the "Castle" Season 6 premiere episode, "Valkyrie," suggests that it is not an instant "Yes" and there is something she had to tell him. That something has to be the Washington DC offer as she met Castle to tell him that she got the job, and is probably taking it up.

It is more of shocked reaction: "Oh, my god, you're proposing." And, then the "I" begins. Did she say "yes?" She probably said yes if one believes the leaked audition video of Myko Olivier. He auditioned for the role of Pi, a new friend of Castle's daughter Alexis (Molly Quinn). The video suggests that she said "YES" as well as said "YES" to the Washington DC Job offer.

"Regardless of her (Kate Beckett) answer, it is going to significantly change their relationship," Andrew Marlowe, executive producer, had said to TV Guide.

In an interview with Give Me My Remote, Marlow said whatever Kate decides, the new season will deal with the ramifications of that decision. He said "I think no matter what the question is, we're going to have to deal with the ramifications are, and it's probably more complicated than either of them foresee."
