Kate Beckett is set to wear the garb of a contract killer in "Castle" Season 6, Episode 17, titled "The Belly of the Beast." This impersonation of a contract killer is going to land her in deep trouble. Beckett will be going undercover to assist a Narcotics investigation.

The preview of "The Belly of the Beast" suggests that for Beckett there is only one way in and no way out on this undercover mission. Castle can be seen saying, "something is not right." Also, there is a glimpse of Beckett being tortured. It will be interesting what Castle will do and how Beckett will get out of that torture cell. The synopsis of the episode indicates that Beckett will have to outwit a powerful enemy from her past.

In episode 16, "Room 147" Beckett successfully convinced Alexis to come back home. However, there was no wedding talk between Castle and Beckett in the episode. Beckett escaping the dangerous situation might make Caskett have an emotional talk and what they mean to each other. Will they finally fix a wedding? In one of the previous episode Castle and Beckett had decided that they would like to get married in spring, and not wait till fall. The season of spring is almost knocking.

For this episode, Carlos Gomez has been roped in to play the character of Captain Fowler. Kenny Johnson will be seen as Harden, while Britt Rentschler will appear as Elena Markov, and Regi Davis as Dr. Bailey. Daniel Hugh Kelly will be playing Evan Potter.

Andrew W. Marlowe and David Amann have written "In the Belly of the Beast," while Rob Bowman has directed it.
