After the sequel to "the Hunger Games: Catching Fire" has made a huge hit around the world. Hemsworth is trying to make something else work for him. This is none other than his relationship with former fiancé, Miley Cyrus.

The two have not been on speaking and meeting terms since Miley called off their engagement. During the first few weeks amidst their split, sources say that Cyrus has been trying to reach out to Hemsworth by writing a love letter. The celebrity however flaunted his newly sought freedom by making out with Latina actress, Eiza Gonzalez. The two have not crossed paths since and it is unlikely Liam even greeted her on her birthday.

The two have been together for almost 4 years and were engaged for a year and a half. These two must've been head over heels in love but after their split it appeared as if they knew not of the existence of ther other. Now sources say that Hemsworth is trying to make amends with Cyrus and has told her friends that "he misses her a lot".

Friends close to Hemworth say that he is still attracted to the "Wrecking Ball" singer and still has feelings for her. What about Cyrus, does she still feel the same about Hemsworth?

In her interview with Cosmopolitan magazine, the "We Can't Stop" singer opened up about her relationship with Hemsworth and how she is coping:

"I need to treat my music like a relationship --- give it my time and all the attention it deserves - and that's my main love right now, This is the best time of my life. I'm not going to look back on it and be like, 'I wish I hadn't been dwelling over a breakup,' you know? Because that's not what God wants my life to be about right now. "

Maybe despite her antics and Hemsworth's wanting to rekindle the romance, the two might just make -up over the holidays since it is a time for love.
