The cause of death of the late music icon Whitney Houston is finally revealed. According to the LA County Coroner's office, she dies from effects of cocaine taken and having accidentally drowned.

It can be recalled that the singer, at the young age of 48, was found dead in a bathtub of the hotel room she was staying last month. According to the statement of the coroner's office, the singer's cause of death is an accident, mized with the effects of a heart disease and cocaine use.

In the statement, it was greatly emphasized that there was no foul play or trauma found, and that the official report will be made available for immediate release in two weeks time. Other drugs which have been discovered in the body of singer include Benadryl, Xanax and Flexiril.

Whitney was found dead just last February 11 before the pre-Grammys party in the Beverly Hills Hilton hotel. Her hit songs during her lifetime such as 'I Will Always Love You,' sold millions during the span of her 30 years in the business.

However, she was also known to be one of the controversial celebrities who have fought a long battle of substance abuse while trying to keep her music alive.
