Fergie delivers her first child, a boy. The ex Black Eyed Peas vocalist gave birth to a boy at a Los Angeles hospital on Thursday morning. Fergie's husband, Josh Duhamel was by her side throughout.

Fergie and Josh, too, have this celebrity fixation of coming up with an unusual name for the newcomer. The couple has decided to name the boy after the legendary front man of Guns 'N Roses, Axl Rose.

Fergie's rep revealed to TMZ that Axl Jack Duhamel was born at 7 pounds 10 ounces via a c-section operation. Josh was quite calm about the arrival of the little one and was seen talking to hospital staff, reported by TMZ.

She is a big fan of the band and performed the song with Slash during the Super Bowl halftime show back in 2011.

Fergie, like other celebrities, is recuperating in a V.I.P. suite booked exclusively for her. She and the newborn are enjoying in the V.I.P. suite. The suite once had celebs like Dwight Howard and Kim Kardashian.

She had a blast during her pregnancy days as she had not one, but three baby showers. Daily Mail reported that less than two weeks ago, Fergie had her second official baby shower in West Hollywood. On July 28 in Beverly Hills, she had her first baby shower. The event took place at the SLS Hotel and was hosted by her friends DSquared fashion designers Dan Caten and Dean, Sean Patterson and celebrity hairstylist Andy Lecompte. The baby shower was star studded with Kelly Osbourne Molly Sims, Adam Lambert and Gabriel Aubry. The guests enjoyed the baby shower as the event featured cross-dressing burlesque dancers.

In 2009, Fergie and Josh tied the knot and recently, the actor, recently, told ET Canada that they were ready to be parents.
