The viral nude photo leak scandal left more than 100 Hollywood A-listers' privacy unguarded. A phone hacker reportedly leaked naked photos and explicit videos of celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Victoria Justice and Ariana Grande. Meanwhile, other celebrities have taken the onus to take the stand and fight for the victims of phone hacking scandal and privacy invasion. "Harry Potter" actress Emma Watson came forward to defend her friend and "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" star Jennifer Lawrence.

On Tuesday, Sept. 2, Emma Watson took to Twitter to guard Jennifer Lawrence in the wake of nude photo leak scandal. The actress posted a tweet expressing her despair.

Even worse than seeing women's privacy violated on social media is reading the accompanying comments that show such a lack of empathy.

On Aug. 31, nude photos of Oscar winning actress Jennifer Lawrence and other celebs hit the Web. The photos immediately went viral and created quite a stir. It is said the massive phone hacking was conducted by a 4chan user. An Apple iCloud leak has been blamed for the violation of celebs' privacy. While some defended the victims of one of the biggest celebrity nude photos scandal, some blackguarded and abused those who have been affected by the hacking. Meanwhile, Ariana Grande took to Twitter to respond to the allegations of involvement in the scandal. In a funny tweet, she revealed that the photos are fake and even provided an evidence for it. She even took the opportunity to inform her more than 18 million followers about her upcoming tour.
