What do you love about the Aussie Bush?

It's Landcare Week - 5-11 September 2011 - and we've teamed up with Be Natural to help raise awareness about Landcare and the help they give to the Australian Bush.

The Landcare movement is made up of approximately 4,000 Landcare and 2,000 Coastcare volunteer groups that work on environmental projects in their local communities to protect and repair Australia's magnificent, yet stressed, natural resources. And they are always searching for new volunteers.

Landcare Australia and Be Natural have recently launched a $125,000 grants program that will provide funding to voluntary environmental community groups across Australia. This grants program will enable groups to continue their great work in tackling local environmental issues by providing funding to help with the continuation of on-going projects.

Nik Scotcher, Marketing Manager, Be Natural, sees a natural fit between the Be Natural brand and the Landcare movement. "At Be Natural, we greatly admire the work that is being done at a local level by Landcare groups and are delighted to be able to support their efforts. The aim of the partnership with Landcare Australia is to take small steps towards making a positive and ongoing contribution to our natural landscape and environment, and through the Be Naturally Landcare grants program we believe we can do just that," he commented.

Be Natural have also sponsored an awareness campaign on Green Times, with the donation of an fabulous array of Be Natural products to be won by three of our readers.
