Good Food Month is the largest food festival in the world and commenced on July 9 and will end on August 9, 2015. There will be plenty of activities and delicious surprises in store for both locals and visitors.

There will be plenty of feature events throughout the month, namely “An Afternoon with the Stars: My Country, My Cuisine,” “Marque, Brisbane,” “Biota Dining,” “Young Chefs’ Dinner,” “Food Writing 101” and “Editors’ Dinner.” There will be world-renowned chefs featuring amazing culinary skills and creations.

The Night Noodle Markets also return for Good Food Month 2015, featuring Asian-themed stalls, bars, lively music and an outdoor party atmosphere. Some of the top Asian eateries in Brisbane will be participating in the event, which will last 12 nights. Visitors can try various Asian dishes like Vietnamese pho and ramen, Japanese gyoza and yakitori sticks and many more.

Many restaurants, pubs and eateries throughout Brisbane will also feature their own specials for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are also dessert presentations for the sweet tooth. There will be show drink events featuring some of the most creative and delicious cocktails. Good Food Month will be the perfect opportunity for people to try almost all kinds of Australian dishes at any time.

Individuals who love tea, cheese and wine will find some of the best restaurants in Brisbane such as Sofitel Brisbane Central which serves great Bastille High Tea and C’est Bon French Restaurant which serves soothing French High Tea. Some of the best places to try wines and cheeses include Claret House Wine Bar, Bitter Suite and Ryan’s on the Park.

Citi is the presenting partner of the Brisbane Times Good Food Month for the second consecutive year.
