Tennis enthusiasts are the only ones sitting in the stands to watch the 2014 US Open. The Grand Slam tournament held in New York City has definitely become a star-studded event with some of the biggest names in the sports and entertainment industry showing up to watch the top tennis players play, and it isn't even the finale yet. Here, we round up the famous faces who were in attendance at the 2014 US Open.

Tennis legends Chris Evert and John McEnroe was spotted at the tournament. Evert is a former World No. 1 and now works as a tennis broadcaster for ESPN. She is an 18-time Grand Slam champion. McEnroe is also a former World No. 1. He won a total of seven titles during his professional tennis career.

Former New York Mayor David Dinkins and incumbent mayor Bill De Blasio was also in attendance during the opening ceremony of the 2014 US Open.

National Basketball Association (NBA) legend Michael Jordan came to watch his friend 17-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer during the Swiss' match against Aussie athlete Marinko Matosevic. Jordan and Federer have recently collaborated on a Nike shoe.

Actor Will Ferrell also came to watch the Open matches. He came with his son and wife Viveca Paulin.

In another photo, Ferrell was seen with fellow actor Luke Wilson during the match between Federer and Marcel Granollers.

Supermodel Heidi Klum watch a few matches. She came with her boyfriend Vito Schnabel at Victoria Azarenka vs. Aleksandra Krunic match on Sept. 1 and at Milos Raonic vs. Kei Nishikori match on Sept. 2.

Military veteran Todd Reed has taken part at the 2014 US Open and worked as a ball boy. Reed is a 53-year-old retired cop and a Green Beret. His right leg was amputated due to an accident at a land mine.

Australian golfer Greg Norman attended the fourth round match between Grigor Dimitrov and Gael Monfils.
