Various stars and artists in the entertainment and music industry paid their respects to the late singer Whitney Houston who passed away at the age of 48 right in time for the coming Grammy's show of the year.

According to the head of the Recording Academy, Neil Portnow, Whitney is considered to be one of the greatest singers of all time who has done a lot of amazing musicthat lasted for almost 30 years.

He compared losing Whitney to a light that has been put out and that they reach out to the loved ones of the singer for her passing and bidding goodbye to her beautiful voice. Most of the stars used Twitter as their main venue to express their shock and at the same time condolences to the family that Whitney left behind.
