Celebrities Increasingly Endorsing Tinder: Britney Spears May Be The Next One
Celebrities are now increasingly embracing the new dating app Tinder. Latest one contemplating to join soon is none other than recently turned single singer Britney Spears.
Appearing on the 'Tonight show with Jimmy Fallon', the singer was offered a Tinder profile in her name with a password for her personal use. The profile carries her photo promoting her perfume with a tag line 'this better work, b**ch'.
The singer appeared amused yet 'thrilled' for the profile. Fallon however, confessed that this is the show's idea and the profile is not created by the singer. However, she has the password and can use it if she wants to.
Tinder is the new dating app that is creating news globally. It connects the user's Facebook profile to provide pictures of other users along with a GPS innovation where the user can set a radius of the search. It was launched in September 2013 and has gained immense popularity since then.
The app presents all the possible matches in the nearby area and the user can select them by swiping right on the mobile screen. The news of Spears might be joining the Tinder spread like wildfire and fans are now keeping their finger ready if they come across her profile.
Apart from the general public, many celebrities have recently confessed to join Tinder in search of love and companionship. Some of them include Katy Perry, Lilly Allen and Lindsay Lohan, as told by the Mirror. Singer Katy Perry, who is single since February this year, even admits that she loves scrolling through Tinder.
The comedian Chelsea Handler claimed that she is looking forward to join Tinder and befriend some random common man rather than some celebrity. The Ordinary Boys singer Preston, who was recently spotted on the app is also an avid fan. "Tinder is the new Angrybird", tweeted the singer.
No matter Britney Spear's Tinder profile is not self-made but a gift from Jimmy Fallon, you may actually start spotting her there soon. The People also reported her possibilities of joining the app.
