Hollywood celebrities try their luck at raising awareness issues against bullying and the rights of gay and lesbian couples. Now the stars of film, music and television join together in a campaign against the World's Worst Criminal, Joseph Kony. Who is he and how can he be stopped?

Joseph Kony is considered to be the worst criminal to have walked the earth. He's the mind behind the group called the Lord's Resistance Army. Wanted on 33 charges of which include rape, enslavement, murder plus twelve counts of crime against humanity, Kony is still at large and he's recruiting innocent children turning them into his sex slaves and child soldiers.

This terrorist is said to have recruited around 66,000 children and counting. Though a few may think the worst has been said about him, Kony has done even worse on the families and friends of the children he has recruited.

Joseph Kony allegedly forces the children he recruits to mutilate or burn their families and friends. Children who try to escape his evil clutches suffer a fate worse than death.

The world is now teaming up to capture this criminal and celebrities are joining in the battle to help free these invisible children. A viral video was released last Monday and it's making a mark to spread awareness all over the world about the Invisible Children's Campaign to take down this Ugandan terrorist, Joseph Kony.

A few celebrities who have watched the video and spread the news onto Twitter include the famous sisters of the television show, "Keeping Up with the Kardashian's" Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner.

Music moguls, Cody Simpson, Rihanna and Justin Bieber have also taken to Twitter to spread the awareness over Kony 2012.

"Rihanna: #KONY2012 Spread the word!!! PLEASE go to http://www.Invisiblechildren.com Even if its 10 minutes... Trust me, you NEED to know about this! #1LOVE," tweeted Rihanna.

Even the "Queen of Talk", Oprah Winfrey took to Twitter to express her support for the campaign.

"Thanks tweeps for sending me info about ending #LRAviolence . I am aware. Have supported with $'s and voice and will not stop.#KONY2012," tweeted Oprah.
