Proving they are just like everyone else, Hollywood celebrities post their cheesiest, most romantic selves on Valentine's Day.

Leading the pack is Americal Idol judge Mariah Carey, sharing with her nearly nine million followers several photos of her and hubby Nick Cannon. The couple seemed to go all out on the day of love, doing every Valentine's Day cliché they could ever think of -- flowers, balloons, wine, matching red outfits, and a horse-drawn carriage.

One of her photos included a silhouette shot of her kissing Cannon, with the New York skyline as their background. It was then followed by a snap of her enjoying a nice bubble bath surrounded by flowers and candles.

"Getting ready for my Valentines Rendezvous consumed by bubbles.. Oh dear..," the diva tweeted.

The two lovers went on their date proper by strolling and enjoying a horse-drawn carriage ride through Central Park while capping the night with rose petals spread all over on their bed.

Meanwhile, R&B princess Rihanna continued to spark controversy on V-day by tweeting, "Love me...I'm #DOPE" and linking an Instagram photo of a cloud of smoke with the words "Mary Jane will be my Valentine. " She also posted an image of what looked like a marijuana plant and tweeted, "Roses are green! Somebody knows how to make me happy."

Earlier, the 24-year-old singer was reportedly seen smoking pot with on-and-off boyfriend Chris Brown at a post-Grammy party. The controversial couple appeared to have spent Valentine's apart, despite being unseparable in the past weeks, as the two reportedly snubbed one another in an L.A. club.

Brown also didn't have a message directed to Rihanna for Valentine's, but instead vaguely wished the ladies a happy Valentine.

"HAPPY VALENTINES DAY to all the beautiful women in the world. Our Queens..... Our mothers, sisters, and daughters. I love you," the tweet read.
