Celebrity Photobombs at the Oscars and Vanity Fair Party 2014: From Jared Leto to Benedict Cumberbatch [PHOTOS]

"Photobombing" is when one person unexpectedly hops into a picture before it's taken. While ordinary folk take joy in such activity, celebrities equally enjoy the hilariousness of it. In fact, at the prestigious 86^th Academy Awards, stars like Benedict Cumberbatch and Jared Leto decided to do photobombs on other celebrities. Check out all the celebrity photobombs here.

Benedict Cumberbatch certainly caught a few sneaky skills off his character Sherlock Holmes. For one, members of U2 didn't notice him and his side-splitting antic during the Oscars Red Carpet. He jumped right behind U2 in time for cameras to capture the moment. Benedict perfectly did the Jennifer Lawrence photobomb moment.

Of course, Jennifer Lawrence didn't miss a chance to photobomb a few stars on the red carpet. However, this time around while hiding behind the Oscars statue, the "Hunger Games" actress got photobombed by none other than Brad Pitt.

Another celebrity to pull off a comical photobomb is Oscar Award winning actor, Jared Leto. At the Vanity Fair Oscar Party arrival, Anne Hathaway posed for photos when the 30 Seconds to Mars singer jumped into the frame along with his golden statue. Hathaway apparently found out and laughed it off before hugging Leto.

Other stars who had been photobombed by the night include Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift. Jaime King appeared right next to Swift as soon as her photo was taken. As for Gomez, comedian Bill Murray posed sneakily beside her while her photo was being taken.
