In a tragic turn of events, 13 year old You Tube beauty expert and Covergirl , Talia Joy Castellano, passed away on July 16thafter her long 7 year battle with Cancer. Catstellano rose to eminence subsequent to her debut on 'Ellen Degeneres'talk show. She also graced the cover of 'Ellen' which brought her incessant passion for beauty and her positive outlook in limelight.

During her final hours she was surrounded by her friends and family. Castellano had been struggling from neuroblastoma ( a kind of nerve ailment) and breathed her last after contracting high fever (due to low platelet count). Post her untimely demise her family posted the following statement on her Facebook page, Angels for Talia:
It is with a heavy heart that we share with all of you that Talia has earned her wings at 11:22am. Please lift her beautiful soul, her beautiful light to heaven and please send your love and prayers to her family during this most difficult time. God speed little one, may you be free from pain and suffering, may your soul feel the light and love that you brought to so many of us on this Earth during the short time you were her with us. We will miss you more than you will ever know baby girl.


Ellen who had been instrumental in bringing fame to Talia expressed her grief via Twitter. She tweeted, "This year I met a very special girl, and today we lost her. Sending my heart to Talia's family. I'm so sad."
Kendell Jenner and other celebrities also took to Twitter to express their condolences and send strength to the family.

Jenner wrote, "just heard about Talia. RIP beautiful. my thoughts and prayers go out to her loved ones. stay strong, your little angel is watching over you."

Rowan Blanchard wrote on Twitter, "R.I.P Talia Joy. You are such an incredible inspiration for many others. You are truly beautiful inside and out. Just keep swimming! You will be terribly missed."

Author John Green wrote, "So sad to hear of the death of the young and brilliantly talented beauty guru and vlogger Talia Joy Castellano."

Keke Palmer tweeted, "God bless Talia and her family, she will never be forgotten."

Ricki Lake tweeted, "#RipTalia you inspired so many, including me."

Joey Fatone wrote, along with a photo of him and Talia, "RIP Talia, I had the pleasure to know her and see her perform she lived music ,prayers are with u and your family."

Castellano's undeterred spirit to live have left an indelible impression on many. In the talk show with Ellen she talked about how Cancer has proved to be a gift for her. She told her that it gave her immense strength to host her own You Tube beauty Channel and instill positive attitude in people. Not only did the fatal disease gave her thundering confidence but a way to outreach people who have lost the taste of life.
