For the third time in four years, World Number 1 Novak Djokovic and World Number 2 Rafael Nadal faced each other for the U.S. Open Championship Title.
Nadal triumphed over Djokovic and won his second U.S. Open Title. He has created an overwhelming lead, 3 out of 4 sets, with 6-2, 3-6, 6-4, and 6-1, at the Arthur Ashe Stadium. It is Nadal's thirteenth Grand Slam U.S. Open Singles Title.
According to Nadal, winning the 2013 U.S. Open Men's Finals means so much to him. He also said in an interview after the game, "There is no one that brings me to play to the limit like Novak." The match lasted for three and a half hours.
It is expected that Nadal will take home a massive $3.6 million dollars as prize money and an additional $1 million dollars bonus.
