Justin Timberlake has been making headlines not for the success of his “Saturday Night Live” appearance over the weekend but for the rumoured “crack” in his marriage with Jessica Biel.

Since Jessica has been noticeably absent during his red carpet appearance at the American Music Awards 2013, the rumour mill has been getting louder that his marriage with the sexy actress is on the rocks. The internet had gone haywire when Jessica failed to congratulate her man after getting off the stage for Justin’s Best of the Artist of the Year award.

The break-up rumour failed to die down when Jessica was also absent at Justin’s SNL appearance over the weekend.

A party ensued after the show and Justin had been noticeably alone without his wife. A source noted that Justin stayed until the wee hours in the morning - - one that could have added fuel to the fire.

"Justin was solo again at the Saturday Night Live after party and he stayed until nearly 5am," says an insider who was at the party in a report by news.com.au.

This was not the first time Justin made his public appearance on a social celebrity gathering in recent months. Justin was also all alone at the American Music Awards in November 2013. Justin was not even wearing his wedding ring in his recent US tour said news.com.au - which is said to have tongues wagging that things are not okay at the Timberlake-Biel home.

What kept everybody talking however, was Jessica’s absence not only on Justin’s appearance on SNL on Saturday but also during the rehearsals on Friday.

"She wasn’t with him at rehearsals on Friday either, which was sort of weird," said the sourc as noted by news.com.au.

The same source pointed out that Justin was no way acting he was free to see anybody.

The source noted, "And it’s not that Justin was flirting with other women or anything at the party but something just didn’t seem right. It was literally what everyone was talking about; whether he and Jessica have split."

Though Justin was wearing his wedding band at the post-SNL party over the weekend, the source emphasized that the Social Network actor barely “talked about his wife.”

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have been married since 2012. The two tied the knot after reuniting from a brief break- up.
