Eight-months pregnant Celine Dion was admitted to a Florida hospital to prevent the early delivery of her twins. The singer is currently hospitalized at St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.

In a statement, the hospital said the admission was recommended to make sure Celine Dion is near her doctors. A representative for the singer said she is due to deliver the twins early next month.

The spokesman for hospital denied rumors on the Internet that the Celine Dion acted out her celebrity stature, saying that "at no time did Ms. Dion or her husband make any special demands or requests of the hospital."

Earlier this year, Celine Dion announced that she is pregnant with twin boys, after years of trying to have more children. The singer and husband Rene Angelil are the parents of Rene Charles, 9.
