After nine years since giving birth to son René-Charles and six in-vitro fertilizations, Canadian singer Celine Dion is pregnant again.

"We're ecstatic," Dion's husband, René Angelil, told People.com on Sunday.

"Celine is just hoping for a healthy pregnancy. She was hoping for one baby and the news that we are having two is a double blessing."

The 42-year-old singer has long dreamed of having a bigger family and has been vocal to the public about her desire to have more children.

In August 2009, Dion's spokesperson announced that she was pregnant with her second child and was due to give birth in May 2010. However, it was announced in November 2009 that her pregnancy had failed. Still, Dion and Angelil tried for another child through fertility treatments.

Aside from in-vitro fertilizations, she also had acupuncture to boost her chances of having a baby.

According to the people's website, Dion is now 14 weeks pregnant and will know the gender of her twins this June.
