Celine Dion is now mother to twin boys. The singer gave birth to the twins Saturday afternoon, after years of struggling to conceive.

In a statement released by St. Mary's Medical Center in Florida, the hospital said that one boy weigh 5 pounds, 10 ounces, while the other weigh 5 pounds, 4 ounces.

Celine was admitted early to the hospital on doctor's recommendation to make sure Celine Dion is near her doctors.

Earlier this year, Celine Dion announced that she was pregnant with twin boys.The singer and husband Rene Angelil are the parents of Rene Charles, 9.

The singer and her song remain popular among Australians, having once reigned the Australian charts with her rendition of Power of Love in the 1990s. Her album All The Way... A Decade of Song was also well received by Australia music lover.

However, no details were giver on the schedule Celine's return to the music scene. Dion had a world tour last year before announcing that she was pregnant with the twins.
