Channing Tatum twerks, dresses as Beyonce in dance performance for Season 2 of 'Lip Sync Battle'
Channing Tatum will surely have viewers giggling with his performance in Season 2 of “Lip Sync Battle.” The actor got in touch with his feminine side as he twerked it up on stage dressed like Beyoncé.
A sneak peek at the celebrity performances for Season 2 of “Lip Sync Battle” shows the “Magic Mike” star going all out in his dance routine. Tatum bravely put on a daring costume and can be seen furiously twerking to Beyonce’s “Run The World (Girls).”
A snippet from the show’s new season posted by the Daily Star shows the 35-year-old talented actor and dancer saying how his performance is “such a bad idea.” However, his statements belied the studio audiences’ reactions when they saw Tatum’s dance routine.
The Daily Star was able to grab a screenshot of the routine which shows the actor in an all-black outfit which includes knee-high socks, a pair of skimpy shorts paired with a thick gold belt and a fringe bolero top. Tatum completed his Beyoncé look with a blonde wig.
According to Just Jared, Tatum will be battling it out with his wife Jenna Dewan on the show. The video below shows the actress’ surprised expression, and she falls to the floor when she sees her husband’s performance.
Season 2 of “Lip Sync Battle” looks set to have another fun-filled performance from its celebrity-filled lineup. Aside from Tatum, Christina Aguilera will be battling it out with actress Hayden Panettiere. Victoria’s Secret model Gigi Hadid dressed in a spandex suit is also seen performing “Larger Than Life” with the Backstreet Boys members Nick Carter and Kevin Richardson.
Meanwhile, Joseph Gordon-Levitt dressed in military costume looks like he is imitating Janet Jackson in her music video for Rhythm Nation. The pregnant Chrissy Teigen also gets to showcase her twerking skills on the show. The reality series is set to premiere on Jan. 7 at the Spike cable channel.
Tatum’s appearance on Season 2 of “Lip Sync Battle” comes after the release of the “Magic Mike” sequel, where he also showcased his dancing skills. In the movie, the actor went all out for his role as a stripper where he had to dance on stage dressed in a thong.
