Charlie Hunnam Surrenders His Macho Image For A Geek in 'Crimson Peak': 'Sons of Anarchy' Actor Plays Dorky Dude
Charlie Hunnam would be seen in a totally new form in the movie "Crimson Peak." The actor who is known to play macho roles, seem to be taking a step further in terms of acting.
"It's really different," he recently told Nuke the Fridge about his role, adding, "It's kind of a very sweet, shy, quiet, dorky dude who doesn't get the girl."
Till date Hunnam has played role of a baddie in motorcycle drama "Sons of Anarchy," of a fighter in "Pacific Rim" and of a prisoner in "Deadfall."The story of a "Crimson Peak" is of a young author Edith Cushing played by Mia Wasikowska who realises that her husband is not being true to her. Hunnam plays Dr. Alan McMichael who is madly in love with Mia's character. While shooting for "Crimson Peak" Hunnam was simultaneously shooting for "Sons of Anarchy." In the movie he has a very different appearance from Jax Teller.
"Yeah, within reason because it always has to be a little bit of a compromise. I was coming directly back to Sons, but clean shaven and I kind of coifed my hair 1900s style," he further said about juggling between two roles.
Hunnam has also confessed recently that he dropped out of "Fifty Shades of Grey" because there was too much work load and he almost had a nervous breakdown thinking that he would not be able to give his hundred percent to the movie.
Meanwhile, Hunnam was recently seen making love to a model in a Calvin Klein ad. He is half naked in the print ads where as in the TVC he is shown as a naughty neighbour making love to Victoria's Secret model Doutzen Kroes.
Hunnam and Kroes have literally raised the temperature in the ad and two reportedly share a fiery onscreen chemistry. Hunnam is currently seen as Jax Teller in "Sons of Anarchy." The show is in its last season.
