Charlie Sheen insists he’s fine, ignores advice for 90-day detox
Sheen says no to three-month detox that will help him overcome his addictions
Determined to go back to work at the end of the month, Charlie Sheen has insisted that he is ‘fine’ and that he does not need to undergo the 90-day detox which was earlier advised by those close to him, including his father, West Wing actor, Martin Sheen.
According to Radaronline.com, an unidentified source close to Sheen told the Web site that The Two and a Half Men star ‘needs to go somewhere and detox for at least 90 days before he could even begin to deal with his addiction to drugs and porn’.
‘Charlie's father, Martin was present when Charlie was told this, and Martin encouraged his son to take the advice. Sadly though, Charlie shirked it off,’ the unidentified source was quoted telling Radaronline.com, according to David Farrell of The Associated Press.
The 90-day detox is the first step to help Sheen beat his addictions both to drugs and alcohol and overcome his penchant for adult entertainers.
But everything his advisors, family and probably even the doctors has told him has landed on deaf ears of the troubled actor.
‘I'm fine. People don't seem to get it.... Guy can't have a great time and do his job also?,” the actor, said Vancouver Sun, was quoted texting RadarOnline.com
