Charlie Sheen plans to shoot for TV sitcom by end of February: publicist
Sheen hopes to resume working with production team of Two and a Half Men
The troubled main star of Two and a Half Men has expressed his hopes to go back working after voluntarily checking in for a rehabilitation program, his spokesman and publicist, Stan Rosenfeld said on Thursday.
The Associated Press said that though the 45-year-old actor is still undergoing rehabilitation, his rep said that he hopes to resume filming for America’s top-rated comedy show by the end of February.
The show now is short of eight episodes because only 16 episodes were completed out of the agreed 24 episodes. It has stopped production after Sheen was rushed to a Los Angeles at the last week of January.
No details of hospitalization have been released by his camp and by authorities. It is suspected, however as drug-related concern. Sheen was last seen in a 36-hour party binge before the 911 call was made.
Whether Sheen shows any improvement within the month and whether or not he could return filming for the TV show, however, was not a decision he alone has to make, noted the AP.
The executive officials of CBS and series producer Warner Bros. Television are now reportedly evaluating any resumption plans of the TV show’s production.
