According to the Associated Press, thousands of fans flocked outside Chicago Theatre despite the brutal reviews of the actor’s first show in Detroit. Tickets for the Chicago theatre have been reported sold-out minutes after it was open to the market in March.

"We figured we'd try it out and see what happens, and if it's bad, we'll leave," the Associated Press quoted a 23-year-old audience member from Chicago who came to the “Torpedo of Truth” tour with her friend.

The Associated Press added that Sheen’s performance in Chicago started out with a standing ovation and was greeted with a ‘friendlier’ crowd chanting, “Detroit sucks!”.

The audience was also described by the Associated Press as ‘cheering and whistling’ at the beginning of Sheen’s show.

Just like in his first live show in Detroit, the “Men” actor was accompanied by what he referred to as goddesses - - a former porn star and an actress.
Both women were carrying the same placards with signs that said: “War” and “Lock”, a phrase made famous when coined by Sheen when he went on personal tirades against the producers of “Two and a Half Men” zeroing in on CBS producer, Chuck Lorre.
