Newly fired actor of “Two and a Half Men” Charlie Sheen has claimed during a radio interview that he prefers John Stamos and Rob Lowe as his possible replacements on the US hit TV series.

“I think they’re both fabulous”, Sheen told radio host, Dan Patrick.

Charlie had clearly changed his mind on John Stamos, who was the first actor rumored to replace him and with him he strongly disagreed in the beginning when he reportedly said replacing him with Stamos as a "tragic joke".

The actor then apologized to Stamos for making such remark.

He said, “.. and my apologies to John, I was rude to him earlier, John Stamos. That was unnecessary.”

Asked why Rob Lowe is his other best candidate for the job, Charlie described him as an old friend.

Sheen said, “And Rob’s an old friend and a brilliant actor. And he’s a beautiful man.”

“Rob is the obvious choice and he is at the top of the list for Two and a Half Men,” an unidentified source was quoted by People.com. Lowe currently appears on NBC’s “Parks & Recreation” and has a gig on Showtime’s “Californication”.

Matt Dillon is the third actor reported earlier by IBTimes as another candidate to take on Charlie's role on US top-rated sitcom.
